GNM
The basic diploma course in general nursing and midwifery is geared to the health needs of the individual, family, community and the country at large. The aims of GNM programme is to prepare nurse with a sound educational programme in nursing to enable them to function as efficient members of the health team, beginning with the competencies for first level positions in all kind of health care settings and to serve as a base for further professional education and specialization in nursing. |

ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION
Students shall be required to attend a regular course of study. Candidates shall have to attend at least 75% of the total number of lectures delivered and practical's done in each subject and 85% clinical experience during each academic year. The procedure of examination will be in the form of terminals, half yearly, pre-university followed by the University examination every year.
TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Emphasis on Clinical Training: College is laying emphasis on clinical training. During first year after giving foundational training and teaching basic 35% of time is devoted on clinical training which is increased to 64.05% in second year, 73% in third year and 80% in fourth year.
Training System: Interactive mode is used to impart training through use of latest Audio-Visual aids and software. The classes are conducted by experienced faculty and eminent personalities and professionals in the field of Nursing and Medical science.
